What we are preparing
Aion Culture is not only a journal. For five years, it has been a cultural advisory practice between Europe and China. This page lists the seasons under way, the projects in motion, the books in preparation — and the ways you may join us.
Otium et negotium.
I.
Exhibitions & events
Conception, curatorship, production. In China, in Europe, occasionally elsewhere. We work the idea before the format. Form follows thought.
II.
Strategic advisory
For institutions and brands that wish to act in China without missing the register, or in Europe without missing the right interlocutor. Mediation, mapping, scripted presence.
III.
Publications
Essays, catalogues raisonnés, monographs, digital content. Our quarterly print edition AION is its public extension; private editorial commissions remain its matrix.
IV.
Residencies & exchanges
Mobility programmes for artists, scholars, and young professionals — between academies, studios, museums and universities. We design, we accompany, on the long term.
V.
Philanthropy & patronage
Structuring patronage programmes for foundations, family offices, companies. Legal, narrative, fiscal, counterparts. Rigour as much as meaning.
VI.
The AION daily
Our editorial outlet. Three languages, two capitals, two daily editions. For our partners, it is both a distribution channel and a proof: the thinking we bring to our projects, we carry into our pages.
Summer 2026
The Chinese Pavilion opens at the Venice Biennale
Critical coverage and accompaniment. Aion Culture tracks the new scenography of the Chinese Pavilion and publishes, in the wake of the opening, a trilingual dossier, a long podcast, and a sound capture. A Lyon delegation joins the sequence — we document its preparation on the ground.

Andy Warhol — A European reading of an American painter
Long curatorial text, accompanying a travelling exhibition (Paris, Shanghai, Beijing). Working hypothesis: Warhol is not an American artist but the last European painter, read through Manet and Velázquez.

Picasso & Socrates — The painter as dialogue
Curatorial text. Picasso read no longer as inventor of forms, but as Socratic: maieutic, ironic, conductor of dialogues. A philosophical hypothesis grounded in the writings of André Malraux, Pierre Daix, and in the reading of Picasso's own Notebooks.
